Are you trying to increase your tech skills? Do you want to learn more about a certain subject but don't want to enroll in college courses? Well, no worries, because many well respected universities are starting to offer their courses in an open source format, that is available to anyone, anywhere. This new open source initiative is part of a movement to make knowledge free for everyone, and it has been receiving a great deal of support from some of the best schools in the nation.
Although you don't receive college credit for completing these courses, you can walk away with some new skills. Keeping current in your field is always a challenge, no matter what type of work you do, but especially in a field as ever changing as technology.
