Nominate Your Favorites For The 2010 Crunchies Awards

As you probably know by now, the Cruchies Awards are to technology what the Grammys are to Music or the Oscars are to Hollywood. The awards celebrate the best of the best in the tech world and the best tech accomplishments of the year.

The 2010 Crunchies Awards are scheduled for Friday, January 21^st at the Palace of Fine Arts Theater in San Francisco. The nomination process opened on December 6^th, and they are accepting nominations of your favorite companies, start-ups, products and people for consideration in 20 different categories. Although the Crunchies tend to focus on start-ups and small companies, big companies and products are also considered. And, if you think you ought to receive a Crunchies Award, there is no shame for self-nomination. The nominations will be open through December 24^th, so there is still time to select your favorite technology achiever.

Once the nomination process is done, the Crunchies committee will select five finalists per category based on who received the most nominations and the company accomplishments made during the year. After that, anyone can vote for their favorites, and the voting will be open until January 19^th.
