Job Description: Responsible for providing portfolio management and investment services to a large number of high net worth individuals, trusts and institutions in accordance with Wells Fargo Wealth Management Group policies and procedures. Duties to include: portfolio construction, implementation of customized equity strategies, Wells Managed Portfolio strategy implementation, risk management, evaluation of opportunities for tax management and options strategies, and providing overall investment market/securities insight. This individual will be responsible for fulfilling individual client requests and perform high volume trades on several thousand accounts. In addition, this individual will be responsible for the management of sole and joint authority relationships. The Investment Manager will partner with client-facing financial intermediaries throughout Wealth Management, Trust, and Brokerage to meet the customized needs of clients.
Basic Qualifications: 3+ years investment management experience, CFA Level I.
Minimum Qualifications: Strong investment background with a strong understanding of investment management and the overall securities markets. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional client service (intermediary and end client). Professional presentation skills and demeanor. Must possess excellent business judgment and work well both independently and as a member of a high performance team. Proactive, innovative and creating skill set in order to meet client and enterprise needs. High energy level. Experience with portfolio optimization.
Preferred Skills: Four year undergraduate degree. Master-s degree, or CFA designation preferred. Preferred knowledge of software applications including Fiserv (IMS, MMS, APL) software, SEI, MOXY, FactSet, Microsoft Office, MS Access. Understanding of other portfolio management software tools, SQL, Visual Basic, or technical background a plus.
