Qualifications:
Manage workflow between internal departments, shared technology groups and dedicated corporate resources: Maintain and organize timelines and schedules for site enhancements, product and/or tool modifications for items such as Sports-related ad-based and subscription products, web section redesigns, site enhancements, creative developements, the CMS (content management system editorial publishing tool), web development tools, structured data tools, etc.
Develop and implement processes and tools to give management visibility to project status at any given time: This includes creating detailed project status reports that reflect project risks, mitigation strategies, and performance on success metrics. Will summarize and report on the status of projects, both quantitatively and qualitatively required both from a macro/aggregated perspective and an individual perspective. Because juggling client, internal, and allocated resources is a challenge, this person will need to have a good grasp of the areas to avoid any gaps or confusion thus making this task more complex. This person may use various project management tools such as Word, Excel, MS Project, Powerpoint or Visio.
Act as a communication conduit and organizational guide between departmental teams (content, marketing, design, etc.). Will need to partner with other department heads to make sure the team is complying with the scope of the agreements between the golf properties, partners and vendors. (i.e., partner with Marketing, Subscription Services, and Creative).
Act as an Account Manager for established relationships. Will act as a day-to-day contact regarding communication between various internal teams and the league. This person may partner with other department heads to meet any requests, or address concerns of the clients.
Responsible for working directly with senior management in maintaining and expanding relationships with outside vendors, corporate partners, and prospective clients: This involves managing resources and the scope needed for development work; and prioritizing the development requests from various partners. Also involves attending meetings (along with senior leadership) to gain a better understanding of requirements early on in the process to ensure all factors/areas are covered.

Duties:
Reporting to the Director of Operations for our sports website, this position manages the strategic and challenging projects undertaken by the business as well as managing daily site operations for a league property. These projects usually include new technology or processes and involve significant risk due to timelines, resource scarcity, ambiguity, financial constraint, etc. This position assists with the development of the Project Management staff and direction of technical resources, as well as supervising project management staff in their day-to-day work. The position is also responsible for measuring and improving the performance of the Project Management team and ensuring that all our sports website projects are incorporated into the company-wide Enterprise Project Management methodology. Further major responsibilities of this role are working with internal and external groups to integrate their work and resources into our sports website projects and scheduling, managing and recording all project reviews.
