Job Summary: Responsible for reviewing and monitoring less complex risk area matters for Wealth Management, and communicating this information to Wealth Management senior management and line personnel.
Major Responsibilities: This position serves as an entry level Risk Analyst for Wealth Management Risk Management. Recommend course of action on most events, but may seek guidance from manager or higher level Risk Analyst when unusual or uncommon situations are identified. Provide technical assistance, training, and information to line personnel. Assist WMRM with audit preparations.
Responsible for performing BSA/AML risk analysis for clients of Wealth Management of less complexity. Ensure ongoing review of Wealth Management portfolios are conducted according to Bank policy. Coordinate findings on high-risk clients to both line management and senior management. Ensure ongoing record keeping and preparation of reports to management regarding status of BSA Enhance Due Diligence.
Responsible for review and response to all newly identified risk areas identified by Financial Investigations Unit (FIU). Ensure high risk clients are reviewed for proper risk code. Accountable for ensuring changes to the risk code are made based on findings of the investigation. Require close working relationships with the Wealth Management Quality Assurance Team, Financial Investigations Unit, and Relationship Managers.
Work directly with Wealth Management personnel to enforce compliance with BSA/AML and assist with Enhance Due Diligence procedures. Monitor status of any necessary corrective action.
AT601 will consume approximately 30%-40 % of the new hire's duties.
* Minimum of 1 to 3 years direct work experience in risk analysis or equivalent with related experience in or other related area of banking. * Business knowledge and skills: excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. * Strong ability to analyze, communicate and make recommendations effectively regarding regulations to the line personnel.
