VP, Sr. Commercial Lender -- RELO TO SYRACUSE, NY AREA
Our client, a well capitalized regional bank, is currently looking for a VP, Senior Commercial Lender to cover the lower middle market sector of clients in upstate New York. They are looking for an individual with a proven track record of success to manage a 70mm+ portfolio in the C&I arena.
VP, Senior Commercial Loan Officer
The VP, Senior Commercial Lender will be responsible for the following:
--Help attain the bank’s lending goals within the greater Syracuse market by generating high quality, low risk and income producing commercial loans
--Call on prospective and existing clients to generate loans, deposits, and fee income. The position will primarily be geared towards managing an existing portfolio of 70mm+; however, there will be some new business development responsibilities. This position primarily works with credits in the $1mm-$6mm range and revenues of 5mm-70mm
--Assess client needs and use initiative and creativity to cross-sell other commercial banking products
--Determine credit eligibility, prepare loan narratives, and ensure loans meet appropriate criteria
--Participate in civic, professional, business and community associations to increase the Bank’s visibility and to enhance new and existing business opportunities
Requirements:
Qualifications
-Minimum of seven years of commercial lending experience
-Formal credit training strongly preferred
-Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field
-Demonstrated record of consistently exceeding performance goals
-Strong oral and written communication skills
