Description KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Position responsibilities will include: - Work with internal stakeholders to ensure the product's readiness for launch and that all of the support processes, operational processes, and resources are in place - With Operations, you will drive the development and implementation of an operating model taking into account the client segment nuances. - Drive innovation including working with clients, internal partners, and key market participants to develop product superiority against our competition - You will execute against these new product offerings from product definition through to delivery into the marketplace - Work closely with internal product managers to leverage capabilities/relationships across SFS, GTS, and other Citi groups. - Work with the sales and marketing teams to drive sales and marketing strategies and manage the execution of these strategies - You will provide active Product Management support once in the market as a subject matter expert in client implementations and the sales process. - You will be a key contributor to new major client implementations and integrations.
KEY CHALLENGES: Providing focus and prioritize across all the potential opportunities within and then coordination across many disciplines for project plans, requirements, and for delivery into the market. Qualifications
CANDIDATE QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 8-10 years experience in Alternatives - Must have a strong understanding of the private equity investment and accounting process with experience in product management, operations or technology - Experience with accounting systems or performance systems. - A prior position of responsibility in product development, product management, project management, or operations management within a financial services organization, preferably with a Sponsor or Manager or other service provider. - A minimum of 8-10 years in financial services experience, preferably in investment management, securities processing industry, fund accounting/fund administration or equivalent management consulting experience. - A minimum of 8-10 years working with the senior management level of customers or prospects in financial services organizations. - Excellent communications, interpersonal and project management skills - Strong public speaking, presentation and writing ability - Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work with minimal supervision - Strong skills with Microsoft office particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Project. - Travel 25-30%.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: College degree required, MBA preferred
