Financial Firm located in NYC needs: VP/Director of Strategy, Financial Services Industry
10-15 yrs of related experience
Extensive knowledge of the verticals with the Financial Services industry space
Experience working in a banking, sales & trading, asset management or ALM position and/or working at a financial software company in a product or strategy capacity that services this space
Strong financial analytical skills to analyze markets and create business cases and well thought out business plans
This industry veteran knows the financial services markets and the vertical disciplines within the space. This individual not only understands functional requirements to service these markets today but also has the foresight to understand how changing market dynamics will open new opportunities in the future.
Responsibilities:
Size and analyze the potential market opportunities · Develop business case(s) on Financial Services Industry market and propose strategy to senior management
Establish metrics and track progress against the firm’s strategy in the financial services marketplace ·
Map out the competitive landscape and develop the buy/build/partner strategy that will enable company to accelerate its growth and market share in the Financial Services Industry space globally
Work closely with product, service, sales and marketing teams to lay out the roadmap and GTM plans
Develop a network of resources to understand the needs of targeted end-users in each region
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree
10-15 yrs of related experience
Extensive knowledge of the verticals with the FSI space
Experience working in a banking, sales & trading, asset management or ALM position and/or working at a financial software company in a product or strategy capacity that services this space
Strong financial analytical skills to analyze markets and create business cases and well thought out business plans
Excellent communication and presentation skills and the proven ability to work as part of a team
The willingness to travel
Positive, motivated attitude
Base salary to 150K
