Barclays Services Corp. seeks a VP, Credit Risk Analyst for its NY, NY location. Duties: Manage and evaluate credit risk exposure for Global Financial Risk Management Group. Analyze liquidity requirements for counterparties and perform counterparty and borrower due diligence. Build break-even analysis models and LP default models to assess probability of default. Utilize structured credit products including CDO, CMBS, Monoline, and REITS to manage credit risk. Draft credit risk policy and procedures for Private Equity business. Evaluate legal structure and manage complex Private Equity funds. Negotiate and review legal documents including ISDA/CSA (International Swap and Derivative Association/Credit Support Annex), MSFTAs (Master Securities Forward Transaction Agreement), and MRAs (Master Repurchase Agreement). Analyze leverage, composition, and quality of assets of real estate investment trusts and assess hedging strategies. Analyze collateral performance through Intex and Trepp. Analyze mortgage origination platform and assess risks in mortgage portfolio. Perform semi-annual portfolio reviews, prepare research reports and present findings to Credit Committees. Utilize Microsoft suite, Bloomberg, GCIS, SNL, Phoenix, SDS, CANARY, Eagle, and Excel VBA to develop models and credit reports. Requirements: Master?s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or closely related field and three (3) years of experience as Credit Risk Analyst for financial services firm. Experience must include design and analysis of credit risk default models and counterparty scorecards; developing risk methodologies to evaluate and structure credit rating systems; drafting credit risk policy and procedures; and managing credit risk for structured credit products and private equity funds.
