Vehicle Product Cost Analyst
The Vehicle Product Cost Analyst is responsible for the development of the Product Cost Study, which compiles the entire cost of a vehicle at the time production begins. The Analyst will have specific vehicles assigned to them for which they will have complete responsibility for the completion of the Product Cost Study. The position requires extensive interactionwith Engineering when determining which components are appropriate to include in the vehicle cost. Additionally, the individual will work with Engineering and Purchasing to develop cost estimates for components which do not have a purchase order. The chosen individual will be responsible for a variety of special studies relating to vehicle cost analysis and reporting.
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting. If no Bachelor's in Finance or Accounting, must have a Master's in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration • Minimum of 3 years of Fiance or Controlling experience • Proficient in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
• Graduate degree (MBA) • Previous finance or controlling experience at a manufacturing company • Proven track record of challenging current processes and offering creative alternatives to process simplification and accuracy improvements • Ability to efficiently work with large quantities of data • Previous experience with data management software (Access) is desirable
