Information about the firm is available Position Description: The successful candidate will join an existing TSS Credit Risk Management team supporting WSS Clearance & Agency and Hedge Fund Services. The role involves significant interaction with Sales & Client Management, Product Management, TSS Credit Risk Management seniors and GCRM Client Credit Management. Although the position does not necessarily require prior knowledge of the core product companies this would be advantageous as would a basic understanding of financial markets, Broker/Dealer and/or Hedge Fund industry sectors. A sound understanding of the Firm's basic credit principles and familiarity of credit policy would also be advantageous. Specific duties: * Support Credit Executives in the review new clients, working with GCRM to gain approval for supporting credit facilities where required * Partner with business colleagues in the review of new business, legal documentation and improvement of credit risk controls to ensure each line of business is suitably protected against loss * Monitoring, and in some cases reviewing the valuation of collateral to support extensions of credit * Work with Credit Exec's and Product Management to develop variations and new business initiatives/processes, ensuring credit risks are understood and minimised * Assist Credit Executives with preparation of MIS to Local/Global Risk Committees and ad-hoc reporting to Senior Management * Participate in the development of training, products, policies and procedures within the businesses to ensure that the risk aspects are fully explored, understood, documented and mitigated Key skills: * Self starter, able to work on own initiative and meet sometimes tight deadlines * Experience of on-boarding processes and practices * Analytical and spreadsheet manipulation skills are essential. * Knowledge of internal credit systems and/or operational systems advantageous (CCMS, COSMIC, P-Control, CRI, Global Funds Control and mainframe) * Knowledge of JPM credit policy advantageous * Ability to partner with business ensuring core credit principles applied at all times * Strong team player * Strong communicator JPMorgan offers an exceptional benefits program and a highly competitive compensation package.
