Training and Education Manager (Sports Management/Finance/Admin)
Establish training and educational best practices, curriculum and distribution plan for sales and trade organization to drive sales and grow share.
Duties and Responsibilities
ú Responsible for leading the NA training and education function including the creation and development of all educational programs designed for employees, customers and consumers ú Assess competitive landscape/offering and develop best in industry training across brand, product, innovation/technology, retail etc ú Accountable for developing appropriate training tools including e-modules for remote ongoing learning ú Formulates training policies, programs, and schedules, based on identified training needs, and product launch timing ú Coordinates with Marketing and Product Managers to develop training aids such as manuals, reference library, multimedia visual aids, and other educational materials ú Identifies need and makes business case for consultants, trainers or outside resources to conduct training in specific topics and/or develop curriculum ú Lead specific company initiatives, educate, train and empower sales channels with presentations and collateral to improve brand perception and product knowledge in the market ú Oversees all rep and dealer communications from strategy design through to execution ú Develops and executes "Dealer Network" strategy to optimize cross brand selling and value proposition ú Provides expertise and guidance to sales management on the establishment of training priorities for both long term and short term objectives ú Create standardized training tools to be utilized for sales team, reps and dealers ú Partner with Retail Merchandising Group to identify the product knowledge priorities for the consumer/retail POP and develop training tools/opportunities to meet expectations ú Establish the master development calendar and key deliverable deadlines for global brand and product teams ú Working with Global Brand Marketing and Product Teams, compile and organize key seasonal assets needed to execute the development of training materials ú Work with in house graphics and production team to develop global template in cases where one does not exist and/or execute content across existing global content ú Collaborate with Event Director to leverage event/demo program as a distribution point ú Analyzes past and current model year training requirements to prepare budgets and justify funds requested
