Requisition Number 10-0201 Post Date 4/14/2010 Title Third Party Senior Credit Risk Analyst Company PHH Mortgage City Mount Laurel State NJ Position Type Full-Time Description Third Party Senior Credit Risk Analyst is responsible for performing a full risk assessment following predefined criteria and procedures for prospective clients within the Wholesale Correspondent Lending channel along with providing leadership support relating to approval waivers and monthly reporting.
Job Responsibilities: . Review correspondent, brokers, financial and non financial institutions application packages to determine if all necessary supporting documentation as requested by PHH has been received to initiate the approval process . Track and monitor all application requests via access database . Complete risk assessment leveraging third party vendor tools, industry exclusionary lists, and online resources to determine if originator meets acceptable standards as outlined by PHH, based on business source and tier . Evaluate third party supporting documentation (i.e. QC Plan, Financial Statements) to ensure compliance with PHH and investor guidelines . Communicate as needed with prospective Third Party Originator and/or Account Executive regarding application approval, declines or deficiencies. . Engage Third Party Risk Committee for 2nd level reviews when deficiencies are discovered as a result of risk assessment . Evaluate risk associated with approval waivers . Assist in the analysis of monthly client scorecards, determining level of risk associated with relationship . Manage caseload of multi client applications Qualifications: ? Bchelor of Science in Business required; 3-5 yrs mortgage credit analysis experience preferably in third party mortgage originator or warehouse lending space ? Prior experience in a lead role position ? Experience managing daily/monthly reporting preferred ? Mortgage operations, quality control, due diligence or finance experience required ? Strong attention to detail ? Strong written and verbal communication skills ? Ability to interpret and analyze third party vendor results efficiently, identifying critical risk factors ? Candidate must demonstrate strong decision making abilities while working with tight deadlines ? Ability to manage multiple responsibilities ? Willingness to work with various business units
