Tax Supervisor
International Public Accounting Firm based in San Francisco, CA is looking for a Tax Senior/Supervisor to join their team.
As a Senior/Supervisor on the Tax Services Team, you will apply your industry knowledge and experience as you work on clients of the Firm to assist in advising them of tax implications of their business objectives and recommend alternate courses of action. You will take direction from other, more experienced members of the Team as you complete complex tax returns. Typical responsibilities will include utilizing research skills, applying your knowledge to understand potential tax issues, gathering client information necessary for filing, participate in tax planning, recognizing and communicating potential risks, preparing tax accrual work papers and assist in handling routine questions from federal or state agencies. You may be the main client contact for questions and information.
Further Experience: - 3-5 years prior work experience in a PUBLIC ACCOUNTING FIRM. - Prior supervisory experience. - Excellent research skills and project management. - Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, partnerships, and individuals. - Preparation and review of tax provisions.
