Due to the continued growth of our Tax & Assurance Practice, we are currently interviewingTax Managers. With over 30 years of service in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, our practice is recognized as a leader in providing accounting, audit and tax services to premier companies in the government contracting, technology, commercial and residential real estate development and management, construction, law firms, retail and other professional services firms. As Senior Auditor you will work with a select group of professionals aligned, in an entrepreneurial environment, to provide clients solutions to help them meet their tax and accounting compliance requirements. As a Tax Manager you may be involved in a variety of professional services including:
* Tax consulting for transactions and deal structuring
* Tax compliance and consulting for C Corporation, S Corporation, Partnership and Individual
* Tax research and analysis for corporate and Pass-through entities
* Preparation and review of income tax provisions for US and international companies
* State and local tax planning, including DC franchise taxes
* Personal property tax reduction review

Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will be to:
* Communicate with business owners as well as the internal accounting and tax departments of business clients to ensure delivery of exceptional client service.
* Supervise, develop and train staff on tax engagements.
* Interact directly with Partners on matters related to client and engagement management.
* Manage, direct and oversee engagement teams on client engagements.
* Assist with strengthening existing client relationships and developing new business opportunities by participating in sales meetings and working on proposals.
* Recommend tax strategies and solutions by being a thought leader understanding client’s business requirements and current market conditions.
* Opportunity to actively participate in firm-wide initiatives, included CPE development, delivery and recruitment.
* Train, coach, and develop staff & senior accountants for advancement.
Qualifications:

Successful Candidate will have:
* Bachelors Degree in Accounting or related field and CPA Certification is required. MS in Tax or LLM in Taxation highly desired.
* A minimum of 7 years experience working in tax compliance and tax consulting in public accounting or a combination of corporate and public accounting experience.
* Excellent analytical, technical and tax accounting skills with proficiency in US GAAP, S Corporations, C Corporations and Pass-through experience.
* The ability to work effectively in a team environment with all levels of client personnel in various industries.
* Excellent written/verbal communications and collaboration skills.
* Strong leadership and business development skills and integrity within a professional environment.
* Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast paced environment.
