Robert Half Management Resources is seeking experienced payroll tax manager candidates for a client. The responsibilities will focus on servicing clients by maintaining, updating and trouble shooting: *state and local reciprocity, multiple jurisdiction, amendments *quarter and year end documentation *third party sick pay *Processing taxable wage adjustments for Employees setup in the wrong state. *Assisting in management of year-end process. (project management, client communication, resource allocation, etc.) *Creation W-2C's and processing data for amended returns *Management of bank returns and pre-notes *Researching complex payroll and tax questions and issues *Support and train Tax Department *Keep abreast of the payroll processing system and changes in wage and tax laws *Analyze payroll transactions, correct records, and adjust errors while maintaining a high rate of client retention (92%) through quality service.
