Large Corporation located near Garden City NY needs:
TAX DIRECTOR
Job Responsibilities: Provide guidance and expertise on all international and domestic tax issues with hight emphasis on international, including: Corporate compliance and governance matters Identifying and minimizing tax risks Developing and executing strategic planning initiative Negotiating and settling tax audits
Manage tax issues globally, including:
Transfer Pricing Cash repatriation
Foreign Tax Credit
Subpart F
Permanent Establishment rules
R&E Credit Deemed Dividend rules
Provide support in identifying, documenting and monitoring and uncertain positions under FIN48
Assist in the preparation/review of FAS 109 calculations and tax returns
Requirements:
7+ years related tax experience
5+ years of extensive experience in the US international outbound issues including tax planning, tax compliance, tax audits and tax accounting
Preferably a combination of Big 4 and industry experience Independent, self-starter with enthusiasm and creativity and the ability to manage numerous projects
Strong proficiency MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
Base Salary to 175K + bonus!
