Resources Global Professionals is looking for a Tax Accountant to join our corporate office in Irvine, CA.
Responsibilities in this role include:
Preparation of sales & use and gross receipts tax returns
Maintain supporting files both electronically and paper
Respond to sales tax notices
Research issues and positions as necessary
Review of A/P invoices for related use tax obligations
Preparation of VAT or HST tax returns for North America
Preparation of business licenses forms
Analysis of sales and use tax accounts
Assist payroll department with special projects
Additional responsibilities include:
A minimum 2 to 3 years accounting knowledge preferred
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an attention to detail and an eye for accuracy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively and professionally articulate via the phone, email, and in person
Proficient in business systems applications such as Microsoft Office. Intermediate to advanced excel skills is preferred College degree preferred
