System Director of Financial Planning Department: Financial Planning Schedule:Full-timeShift:Hours:Job Details:- Bachelor Degree req. Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. CPA and FHFMA strongly preferred but not required. Must have at least 8- 10 years previous health care experience with at least the past five years in a leadership position in a health care related organization. This position is responsible for the Financial Planning functions for the entire St. Vincent's HealthCare system. This includes the Annual Operating and Capital Budgeting process, Long-term Financial Planning, Capital Planning and Analysis, Financial Analysis, Budget Variance Analysis and Productivity Analysis. The position also oversees the Decision Support System (DSS) including Cost Accounting, Contract Management and Service/Product Line Reporting, providing financial analysis and modeling. System Director of Financial Planning responsibilities include but not limited to assisting the managed care department with appropriate information and analysis of the financial impact of managed care programs; take the lead role in evaluation, development, implementation, and monitoring of a productivity system; update multi?year forecasts annually in conjunction with the annual update of the Integrated Strategic Operational and Financial Plan (ISOFP); providing senior management with the capabilities to ask "what?if' questions and provide financial modeling to allow for flexibility with various assumptions. Must have the ability to provide leadership to areas of responsibility by developing a vision that is aligned with the mission and vision of the St. Vincent's Organization. In addition to ensuring that the department provides quality and cost-effective services to its customers.
