System Director of Finance Department: Financial Accounting Schedule:Full-timeShift:Hours:Job Details:- Bachelor Degree req. Bachelor's Degree required. Master's Degree preferred. CPA and FHFMA strongly preferred but not required. Must have more than 5 years experience in a Director or above position. If prior experience is w/in a smaller organization, experience must be in a CFO position. This position is held accountable for the Financial Reporting function of the St. Vincent's HealthCare system. Responsible for the timeliness, accuracy and integrity of all financial reporting activities system-wide. Development, production and delivery of financial reporting for the entire system including: Integrity of the systems used to compile financial data and the results they produce, internal/ external audit support, Ascension Healthcare reporting, support of systems and functions of the organization requiring financial data as an input, third party reimbursement management and accounting, management of relationships with third party resources providing accounting services for subsidiaries, and compilation and reporting of the results of owned physician practices. As this position is responsible for the overall financial reporting function of the health system, executive presence and maturity are critical success factors. Strong written and verbal communications skills are necessary for effective interactions internally and externally. Must have the ability to provide leadership to areas of responsibility by developing a vision that is aligned with the mission and vision of the St. Vincent's Organization.
