About the company : Our client is a leading healthcare advertising agency and a growing subsidiary to one of the world's leading full service advertising businesses. As they add new clients and continue expansion, they are hiring an SVP Client Business Director to handle their largest clients and develop a new division. Job description : The SVP of Client Business Director will report directly to the CFO and play an integral role in managing client relationships. The SVP, Client Business Director will support 4 Managing Directors and will be embedded in the Account responsibilities include: Liaise between client and agency; act on the front lines with frequent client contact Lead and support Managing Directors on client and contract negotiation Work closely with Procurement and Consultants within Marketing and Account team on contract negotiation Lead staffing negotiation, tactical planning, budgets Analyze staffing plans and project lists before sending to client Analyze client agreement Work with metrics systems Direct outside consultant compensation negotiation Must be comfortable embedded into account teams, selling the scope of work Challenge the client account to execute better strategies, processes, procedures, and systems Must be on the front lines of Procurement Oversee budgets, contracts, reconciliations Who we are looking for : The ideal candidate for the SVP Client Business Director will posess the following characteristics: BS in Finance or Accounting CPA a must Advertising/Agency experience a must 10+ years client accounting experience, public accounting a plus Exposure to entire accounting cycle and close process Hyperion Reporting knowledge a must Excellent track record managing client relationships Must be proactive, and an out-of-the-box thinker to strategize new efficiencies, processes, systems, and procedures.
