 The SVP of Business Transformation Analytics is a key role in the mortgage business transformation team responsible for driving a multi-million dollar transformation program.  Partnering closely with Business Functions, Finance, BP&A, Re-engineering, Technology Governance, Strategic Sourcing and Business Improvement teams the role will lead the Business Transformation Analytics efforts. 

The ideal candidate will have deep business transformation experience, possess a strong financial background, have experience in managing large scale programs, and will have held a senior role within one of the top tier consulting firms or senior analytical role in global consumer firm. 

The Senior Vice President of Business Transformation & Improvement is a key role in the mortgage business transformation team responsible for driving a multi-million dollar transformation program.  This role will be responsible for developing the business transformation / improvement pipeline working closely with the Process Re-engineering, Technology Governance and Strategic Sourcing teams.  A key aspect of this role is defining strategic priorities and goals for the Business Transformation Team.  This role will be instrumental in executing Strategy around Customer Experience, Productivity, EBIT, Quality and Controls Optimization. The role will also include conducting fact based analysis using a variety of tools/resources to identify opportunities to drive the 2012-2014 agenda and define business cases for Business Transformation / Improvement.

 

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Provide high level strategy, planning and analysis to support the major businesses functions in developing their transformation programs and tracking methodologies
  • Evaluate a portfolio of business transformation projects across Businesses functions in order to achieve measurable and sustainable results that improve revenues and/or decrease costs
  • Develop analytical methods for operational improvement and is responsible for the quality control of analyses done by team members
  • Support the development of metrics associated with the effectiveness and efficiency of the different processes, and their impact on business financial indicators.
  • Translate complex issues into clear steps, analyses and recommendations.  Develop the financial ROI analysis for reengineering opportunities, identifying automation and standardization areas, etc.
  • Drive efficiencies and effectiveness, ensuring that service quality is measured and improved, and helping to determine appropriate benchmarking.
  • Thorough understanding of expense management concepts and practices with ability to identify opportunities for consolidation and productivity.
  • Ability to articulate risks and opportunities, influence and direct the appropriate resolutions, along with the ability to effectively communicate and influence at the most senior levels
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis of factual information in complicated, unique and dynamic situations; draws on a diverse range of internal and external resources

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree potentially Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or other quantitative discipline; MBA strongly preferred
  • Accomplished senior leader with 10 - 15+ years of experience including 5 - 6 + years' managerial experience in either Consulting Industry or at an SVP level in a financial institution.
  • Proven track record in operational effectiveness, financial analysis, process redesign/reengineering, change management, communication, relationship management, strategy implementation and project management.
  • Data- and analytically-oriented.  Experience in Financial modeling of operations and technology investment options and ROI analysis
  • Ability to assess and analyze business and financial impact of proposed initiatives and recommend appropriate action
  • Experience working with complex data (sourcing, aggregation, organization, analysis and reporting)
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, Power Point & Financial modeling toolsets
  • Superior analytical skills, proven experience in developing effective analytical models suitable to Mortgage operations.
  • Background in Management Information Reporting at all levels - deep process and reporting knowledge
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to build relationships and collaborate at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to build a compelling business case for change.
