Summary
The SCRM analyst will provide analytical support to operations and investigations for the Air Force Office of Special Investigation (AFOSI). The analyst will use analytical skills to produce both short- and long-term products, as well as provide perspectives based upon current and past situations. The SCRM will also provide an understanding of the significance of the conditions and supply chain risk and threats.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Prepares finished intelligence analysis reports and provides focused analytical support to economic crime investigations and / or operations. Priority will be given to economic crime impacting USAF and DoD's ability to mission responsibilities. Examples of such activity include: counterfeit parts / product substitution; collusion; bribery; corruption; environmental crimes; embezzlement.
· Performs in-depth research, compilation, and analysis of a wide range of complex and sensitive information to determine supply chain risk to the USAF, DoD, and US interests. From research and analysis, produces both short and long-term products from which senior commanders and leaders can base decisions and allocate resources.
· Supports economic crime investigations with focused analysis in order to evaluate the significance of the information collected, extract and further disseminate relevant economic crime information, identify operational opportunities and leads, provide guidance to the case agent, and coordinate actions within the intelligence and law enforcement communities.
· Develops and projects data, draws conclusions, and estimates probabilities based upon knowledge of current and past situations and an understanding of the significance of the conditions and supply chain risk and threats. Presents findings and recommendations to government technical representative and policy makers.
· Assists in the coordination, review, and evaluation of economic crime related activities within AFOSI and coordinates those activities with DoD and national-level agencies.
· Reviews and evaluates AFOSI field investigations for content and responsiveness to taskings and provides constructive feedback to enhance field performance. Identifies critical intelligence gaps and recommends corrective action.
· Prepares and presents briefings on economic crime matters to AFOSI, USAF, DoD, and national-level agencies.
· May represent AFOSI as a recognized subject matter expert.
· Other duties as assigned to meet business/operational needs.


Supervision: May provide specific task direction to staff and some supervisory responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
· Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; however significant experience can be substituted in lieu of this requirement. Preferred subject disciplines include: Criminal Justice, International Relations/Affairs, National Security Policy, History, Political Science, or Intelligence Studies.
· Five years of economic crime investigation or analysis experience is required
· Experience obtained from AFOSI or another military agency is preferred.

Computer Skills
· Must have advanced working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, presentation software (MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
· Applicants must have demonstrated proficiency using M3/AMHS, Analyst Notebook and intelligence/counterintelligence databases and web-based programs for information gathering.

Travel Attend off-site meetings in the DC area when necessary. Additional travel includes: 3-5 CONUS TDYs lasting 5-7 days each in support of current AFOSI SCRM efforts. As mission dictates, may be subject to long-term TDYs no longer than 90-days.
