Description: Summary: Working with the Customer Service Metrics & Analytics team analyze existing reports in Business Objects "Deski" and create transition plan for all reports to "Webi". Execute plan and test all reports to ensure they are accurate and accessible. Exceptional candidates should have opportunities to work on additional analysis and analytic projects.
Responsibilities: - Document all reports residing in SAP BusinessObjects "Deski" version - Create project plan outlining methodology and timeline for conversion of reports to "Webi" version - Create and execute test plan of converted reports - Identify reports that failed conversion and create alternatives as needed - With acquired proficiency in Business Objects, intern may be asked to create new Operational reports for business
Basic Qualifications: - Working towards a BA/BS degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, IT, or related field - Experience with MS Office suite of applications, especially Excel - Ability to time manage, set goals and work independently at times
Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure/Experience with relational databases and database design principals (Oracle, MS-SQL, MySQL, Access) - Knowledge of Excel macros, pivot tables and formulas - An eagerness to solve problems using data and meeting commitments/deadlines
