Title: Strategy & Initiatives Manager Location: CA-Calabasas Architects, engineers, designs, documents, or supports business solutions for Risk Management either from as technologist or a business analyst. Has deep knowledge of business functions and mastered their profession. Is a subject matter expert in technology, business, or operations and a thought leader for assisting senior technology or business leaders in determining the current and future direction in their area or related areas. Utilizes in-depth knowledge of technological alternatives, business requirements, and business environments to recommend innovations that enhance and/or provide a competitive advantage to the organization. Provides leadership and guidance on issues of critical importance to achieving business objectives. Has extensive & specific business knowledge or technical skillset e.g. Quantitative skills, Capital Markets, Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, Legal / Audit, Universal Bank: Typically requires 7-10 years of applicable experience.
Additional Information: * Lead the Technology Governance and Strategic Planning competency for CLMS * Work across the CLMS business units, to influence and drive the "right" technology solutions and effective utilization of technology budget * Partner with HL&I Mortgage Governance, Change Management and Technology to ensure alignment and communication to IMP * Chair the biweekly CLMS Technology Governance meeting and process, and represent CLMS Technology needs in all venues and forums * Present at the monthly CLMS Leadership Meeting (Jack and his DRs) to present the state of the technology portfolio and garner support and decisions for upcoming change controls * Lead cross-functional groups, and effectively negotiate, collaborate, and strive to build consensus among Senior Executive and Senior Manager staff * Partner with CLMS Risk Management team to ensure capacity and progress of MRA-dependent solutions * Monitor burn reports, track progress, and facilitate change controls as appropriate Required Skills: * 7 years of Business Analysis experience * Six-Sigma Green Belt preferred * Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills * Strong technology, governance, process and project management skills * Strong meeting, presentation, and communication skills * Requires an in-depth knowledge of ECMS/Change Management & SDLC processes. * Results-oriented who can develop and manage relationships across the division and with a wide variety of partners based on trust, teamwork and knowledge. * Possess project management, process development, consulting and problem resolution capabilities. * Able to lead change and influence business direction in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment, establish priorities and achieve results. * Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio
