Position is responsible for on-air quality control and maintenance.
MAJOR DUTIES:
Perform quality control operations for all inbound / outbound remote feeds Perform full facilities check-in with remote production trucks and any other facilities for on-air live or tape feeds and router control Perform quality control operations for all inbound / outbound remote feeds Perform full facilities check-in with remote production trucks and any other facilities for on-air live or tape feeds Act as after-hours emergency on-call person Perform Equipment repairs and good soldering skill and system integration Contact vendors or technical support services for troubleshooting equipment issues Assign and program Adam PL and IFB numbers for communicating with remote production truck and other studio facilities Perform other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
3 years of broadcast facility and/or transmission experience A working understanding and ability to communicate with remote sites in order to set-up broadcast feeds i.e. Audio, Video and various transmission methods Ability to learn multiple computer programs and have computer cabling and hardware, software set up skills i.e. Hard Drives, Logic Boards and OS In depth working knowledge of audio and video signal measurement and operation of audio and video measuring equipment Knowledge of the operation of video and audio recording equipment, such as VTR's, Servers, in order to trouble shoot recording and playback problems and general A/V signal flow Have excellent people skills and ability to understand concerns of other co-workers and help assist in solutions for any problems that might arise Ability to work a flexible schedule and hours including weekends and holidays Interested candidates must submit a resume/CV through to be considered Must be willing to submit to a background investigation Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States Must be 18 years or older
