Apply today at Staff Accountant Under the general direction of the Finance Director, this position will performs all general accounting functions in the Finance Department, to include: Assists with month end closing process. Closes subsidiary systems, corrects transactions, and posts information to the GL. Assists in the preparation of standard/recurring journal entries. Maintain current and accurate balances in pre-paid insurance, rent, benefit and fixed asset accounts. Assists in the review of all preliminary financial data, identifies items that are posted incorrectly, or items that need to be re-classified due to system constraints. Assists in the preparation of all balance sheet reconciliations to include cash accounts. Assists in the development of a timely and accurate reconciliation process for all company accounts. Helps in the preparation of various reports that support monthly accounting transactions. Prepare monthly management and provider reports in a timely and accurate manner. Perform other duties as assigned.
