This position is primarily responsible for compensation and benefit accounting for DISH Network/EchoStar. Responsibilities include payroll journal entries, month end accruals, reconciliations, employee wage/tax reclassifications, detailed account/variance analysis, reporting, general field support and projects as assigned by management. This role collaborates with our payroll partner, general ledger group, benefits team and payroll department to research and resolve various issues.
Ability to exercise appropriate judgment and discretion while handling confidential information.
Analyzes and synthesizes information; devises alternative resolution strategies.
Communicates effectively with management/professionals somewhat more senior and experienced then self.
Prior experience with Oracle Financials, sales general & administrative and occupancy experience preferred.
Bachelor Degree in Accounting or a related field and 4+ years of accounting experience plus supervisory experience in an accounting role is also required. Masters in Accountancy and/or CPA license are a plus.
