Lead Staff Accountant
Next Generation Wireless, a U.S. Cellular Authorized agent is searching for a Lead Staff Accountant with multiple locations in Iowa and Illinois. Next Generation Wireless is a progressive company continually looking for growth opportunities. This position will report directly to the President of the company and is part of the Senior Leadership team. Be part of a fun work environment where your successful performance is rewarded.
Essential Functions:Presentation, translation and dissection of monthly and year to date financial performance; deliver information in concise manner to Company President.
Strategize with leadership team to develop, implement and track sales compensation plan. Provide monthly sales forecasts and establish goals for company individual locations and associates.
Work with Company President in setting yearly budgets and analyzing monthly performance for needed adjustments.
Provide budget scorecard to leadership team for review and implementation of cost saving measures.
Oversee company financial records to include accounts payable, vendor price management, expense tracking and documentation, deposit verification and monthly bank reconciliation.
Oversee management team of 4-5, assisting with responsibilities in HR, inventory and operations.
Assist Company President and leadership team with developing, implementing and maintaining company policies.
Be a key strategist in establishing company objectives and business/operations processes and functions.
Candidates must possess the following skills and attributes:
Requires 4-5 years accounting experience within a sales helor's degree in business, accounting or a related field ven organizational management skills; flexible and able to prioritize multiple ong leadership, motivational and analytical skills; Leading a team by ect experience working in an environment that has continuous ong written and verbal communication entory Management and IT background is a plusProficient in Outlook, Word, Excel and QuickBooks programs.
