Staff Accountant Investment Properties Division Reporting to Vice President of Accounting & Finance RESPONSIBILITIES ? Assist in the accounting of residential and commercial properties. ? Prepare bank reconciliations on operating and escrow accounts. ? Update fixed asset software with additions and deletions. ? Assist in the budgeting/reforecast process. ? Prepare audit work papers at year-end. ? Assist in occasional internal audit/compliance for the portfolio ? Record standard journal entries, accruals and adjustments. This position requires excellent communication skills as well as proficiency in Excel, Word, and the ability to learn accounting software packages. They will work closely with the Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable Manager and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision. Compensation is from the low to mid 40's.
