PTC is looking for Senior Software Development Engineer, to work either in our Blaine, MN or our Montreal, Canada office, who enjoys a fast-paced environment and challenging projects to join the Windchill Product Development Team. The position is working within a development team that focuses on the client layer of the application.
RESPONSIBILITIES . Develops, writes and implements software programming applications. . Supports and/or installs software applications. . Participates in maintenance and troubleshooting activities. . Has experience with concepts, practices, and procedures commonly used within the software development field. . Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. . Follows disciplined software development practices. . Has the capability of completing assigned tasks with minimal supervision. . Typically takes work direction from a Group Leader.
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED . 2-5 yrs experience in IT. . 2+ yrs experience in Java programming. . 1+ yrs experience with Javascript, CSS and HTML in an AJAX environment. . Knowledge of usability testing and user centered design practices is a plus. . Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues. . Strong Communication Skills.
