Sr. SAP Systems Analyst - SD module (Pricing & Invoicing)

A leading Logistics & Manufacturing Firm has an immediate need for a senior SAP Systems Analyst with SD module experience for their Orlando, FL location.

The System Analyst in the Business Applications ERP Services and Solutions global group adds value to SAP applications and to the business through his/her extensive specialist knowledge of one or more SAP functional modules; through knowledge of their integration with other systems modules.

The System Analyst is responsible for the specification and configuration for pricing and invoicing processes to meet current and future business needs. The Systems Analyst works closely with the Business Analyst to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot and enhance SAP functionality.

Major/Key Accountabilities

• Ensure the stability of Production ERP applications, by understanding the underlying business processes and how the application supports these business processes, and by applying this knowledge to solving problems, permanently and at source.


• Constantly monitor and improve the effectiveness of the ERP applications relative to the end-users’ experience and with regard to the overall business processes and workflows required to efficiently handle day-to-day operations.


• Design well-documented ERP applications enhancements aligned with the business needs and in accordance with standard SAP, Global Governance, and Quality Assurance best practices.


• Implement these enhancements. Configure them, oversee their development and unit testing, and support user acceptance testing, integration testing, regression testing, and change management for implementation.


• Identify and implement value-adding effectiveness (“doing the right things") and efficiency (“doing things right") opportunities, and seize quality improvement opportunities in systems and processes.


• Understand configuration of, and logical and process dependencies and interrelationships between distinct functional modules of SAP, and design and troubleshoot in his/her own specialist functional area using this knowledge.

Skills and Knowledge

• Requirements planning and management: Gathering, Communications, Analysis, Documentation, and Implementation


• Ability to integrate system capabilities with business needs where potentially the degree of customization required in SAP is above industry benchmark levels


• Basic understanding of IDOCs


• Good knowledge of troubleshooting issues and utilizing SAP OSS Notes for resolving production defects.


• Understanding of key principles of Project Management


• Extensive testing experience, using automated testing tools such as LiveCompare, FocusFrame, Worksoft etc.

• § Knowledge of integration between SAP ECC 6.0 and external systems using interfaces.

  § Enough ABAP understanding to aid problem solving, providing specifications and performance of testing

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience in SD module with at least 2 full SAP project lifecycles


• Advanced IMG and configuration skills in the SD pricing and billing areas


• Provision of systems support and direct contact with users to solve issues with business applications


• Working in a service business with a sophisticated supply chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, ideally in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or a relevant Business field.

Desirable

• Project Management certification (PMP or CAPM) from PMI


• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt


• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP®) from IIBA

Other Desirables

• Business Intelligence (BI) experience


• Cross-SAP modules integration : SD and MM, SD and FI, SD and CO-PA


• ABAP: understanding of user exits / requirements and debugging skills


• Familiar with SAP Queries, LSMW, Idocs, Smartforms, Streamserve or Adobe forms


• Global business reach, including working remotely with globally scattered users and IS teams, including external partners.
