Sr. Product Manager, Finance
The Amazon Online Display Advertising team is looking for an analytical and technically skilled Sr. Product Manager to join our team. This role is responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring revenue maximization strategies including the optimal inventory allocation across all Amazon International properties. This position will be also responsible for identifying and exploiting special revenue opportunities and overall page monetization.
This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities as well as outstanding business acumen. The successful candidate will be a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity, with strong attention to detail, an ability to work in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and a desire to help shape the overall business unit strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Optimize Yield for advertising across Amazon properties
Coordinate allocation of available inventory across multiple sites, brands, ensuring set up of effective revenue utilization (all channels) throughout all existing inventory placements
Support negotiations with global upfront partners.
Drive development of quantitative models necessary for evaluation and implementation of new strategies.
Maximize overall page monetization by analyzing Amazon traffic by channels and conversion and determine the optimal allocation of products on the page
Develop, research and analyze pricing strategies, test and evaluate current and proposed pricing strategies
Manage and execute entire projects or components of large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering and manipulation, synthesis and modeling, problem solving, and communication of insights and recommendations
7+ years of professional experience in online advertising inventory management, web analytics, business analysis or comparable analytics position
Advanced Excel skills required
BA/BS degree required
Experience solving complex and large-scale pricing problems and applications is a strong plus
SQL, SAS, SPSS, and Access a plus
Masters in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance with a focus on quantitative analysis
Experience with statistical analysis, regression modeling and forecasting, time series analysis, data mining, financial analysis, dynamic pricing, demand modeling, game theory and customer/product segmentation
