WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION
The Senior Account Manager (SAM) assists Individual Life Division (ILD) in meeting and exceeding its sales and profit goals by serving as a proactive relationship manager for assigned key distributors. The SAM serves as the primary point of contact for the account, coordinating marketing, sales and support services in order to provide seamless communications and drive sales. Specific duties include: · Receives all information that pertains to the firm and channel, determines the salient points, identifies potential issues and communicates with the firm and internal partner as appropriate. · Develops comprehensive reports on all the issues specific to a given firm/channel for broad distribution to all internal stakeholders. Identifies trends and highlights issues that need to be addressed. · Identifies and acts on training needs and communication opportunities. · Develops and maintains accurate key account databases and populates market research databases. · Independently anticipates and resolves the most complex issues. Establishes overall issue resolution standards. May supervise junior staff
The Senior Account Manager is viewed as business, industry and subject matter expert and leads the development and implementation of communication and education initiatives.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
* Excellent organization and verbal/ written communications skills * Has an in-depth knowledge of the industry and Hartford's products and services. * Series 6 and 63 preferred * 7 years of financial product martketing/service/sales experience * Excellent relationship builder and manager
