Job Description
Senior Integrated Audit Consultants are responsible for project level planning, execution, and reporting. Integrated auditors will perform finance (including fraud and data analytics), technology, operational reviews, and consulting services to the Audit Committee of the Board of directors, senior management, business units and corporate functions.
Senior Integrated Audit Consultants lead and participate in a variety of technology, financial, and operational audits and data analytic special projects in Baxter's U.S. and international operations.
Performing as project lead in engagement planning, fieldwork and report phases.
Supervise on-site audits through reviewing and validating business processes, financial and operational controls, technology, application systems, assessing financial and management reporting and business practices, and identifying opportunities for improvement to controls, data quality and integrity, and technology vulnerability management.
Project leader in the field for audits and other projects. Direct and develop the audit team.
Communicate audit results to customers as a primary liaison of the project management team. Build and maintain cordial relationships with clients.
Lead less complex special projects including new technology, and new application system controls consultations prior to go-live, due diligence for potential acquisition targets, and business practice investigations.
Sr. IT Audit Consultants are required to travel -- 25 to 30% is typical. Travel is clustered and in teams most often.
Job Requirements
Experience or knowledge of financial accounting or business operations.
Knowledge of business process, ERP application system, IT operations management, or technology controls.
Systems and business process analytical skills.
Ability to manage and measure projects and work of others.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Team and results oriented.
Detail oriented.
Experience with fraud investigations and data analytics.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Information Systems (MIS), or Computer Science.
At least 3 years financial, operational and / or IT audit experience in Big 4 or industry.
Data analytics and use of automated tools a plus.
CPA, CFE, CIA and / or CISA preferred.
