Description
Main Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
- Prepare and record current and deferred income tax journal entries, in accordance with U.S. GAAP, for U.S. federal and state income taxes
- Prepare account reconciliations and roll-forwards for all U.S. income tax accounts
- Prepare all U.S. FAS 109 schedules for submission to Corporate
- Record and maintain the GCS tax reserve in accordance with FIN 48
- Assist with the preparation of U.S. taxable income forecasts for ETR (prepare quarterly GCS Economic model)
- Prepare quarterly Commitments & Contingencies reporting and review any new commitments that meet reporting threshold.
- Prepare and organize SOX requirements for Director of Financial Reporting.
- Oversee one direct report with the following responsibilities: Manage PCNA's GR/IR (Goods Received/Invoice Received) and Parked and Blocked issues, prepare quarterly and annual government reports, prepare quarterly volumes reports for MD&A, maintain transfer prices within SAP, coordinate quarterly representation letters, maintain temp labor POs, coordinate annual Code of Conduct training for PCNA
Requirements:
- BS Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Tax experience is preferable
- Good understanding of FAS109
- 4+ years financial and tax experience in public accounting (Big Four preferred), 5+ years private accounting experience
- CPA preferred.
- Motivated individual capable of working independently to achieve goals
- High integrity, strong technical accounting skills (GAAP), and keen analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills - excellent writing and effective and persuasive verbal skills.
- Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment.
- Ability to work, communicate and influence individuals from varying groups and levels.
