Responsibilities
Conducts business performance analysis, incorporating trend analysis, to assess business implications. Focused primarily on analyzing data to support forecasting. Designs reporting and analysis to aid in furthering business intelligence for finance and business management. Creates complex financial models for use in business decision support.
Provides analytical decision support for tactical and strategic business alternatives. Identifies data issues and performing root cause analysis and identify process / data issues.
Independently provides data analysis and financial analysis to support business performance analysis and forecasting/planning to business partners. Develops financial models and analyzes data to assess historical results and project future trends.
Responsible for directing and completing projects utilizing advanced strategic thinking and business partnering skills. Provides direct support to business partners, helping influence decisions and guide the direction of the business from a financial perspective.
Provides routine reporting and analysis related to financial and other key business metrics. Designs reporting that responds to changing needs of the business and raises the level of diagnostics.
Provides indirect leadership to peers and other associate/financial analysts.
Qualifications
3+ years of progressive financial experience including financial modeling, planning, forecasting and results analysis.
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
Expertise with Microsoft Office tools, specifically Excel and Visual Basic.
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to lead up to finance and business leaders as well as across the organization.
Ability to act as a change agent; drive improvements in our processes, tools, analytics, etc. in order to create a sharholder value.
Proven ability to see projects through from start to finish with attention to detail and focus on quality while simultaneously amnaging multiple priorities.
