The Senior Financial Analyst will be the primary finance support for the Business of Law (BOL) financial planning and reporting process. This position is responsible for assisting in consolidations and related corporate reporting submissions. General finance support will also include ad-hoc reporting and analysis as well as various projects assigned by the BOL Finance VP. This position will report to a BOL Finance Manager and is located in Eagan, MN.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Review of BOL entity monthly reporting submissions and related variance analysis and tie out to SAS FM * Drive FindLaw consolidation and financial reporting * Prepare monthly corporate reporting for BOL/FindLaw metrics and financial results * Support planning and expense management for BOL Executive functions such as G&A, Finance, HR and Strategy * Assist in BOL capital activities, monthly reporting and planning * Facilitate the BOL planning process * Assist in strategic presentations and ad-hoc financial analysis for the BOL Finance VP
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business * 4+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and modeling * Working knowledge of financial and general accounting principles, practices and procedures * Proven experience in use and application of Excel and Powerpoint * Strong written and verbal communication skills. A proven ability to relate to all levels of management * Highly motivated and able to work independently consistently meeting organizational timelines * Experience with SAP/BEX, Cognos, and Business Objects or comparable database a plus
