This position, while playing a role as a Senior Business Analyst, conducting business process analysis, needs assessments, and cost/benefit analysis in an effort to guide information technology solutions into alignment with business initiatives, will also perform as the subject matter and ECM documentation expert for Oracle Financials business clients.
Provide Oracle application and processing subject matter expertise for business clients and technical resources on large and complex projects.
Assists the business client with the drafting of business policy and process documentation, managing the document approval process, establishing and ensuring all document formatting and content are in line with corporate standards, and publishing and managing all content on the Enterprise Content portal.
Provide direction to the technical staff with whom they are partnered on projects with, and to less senior business analysts and project managers.
Perform analysis to identify/verify production application issues, provides solutions, and performs ongoing auditing to validate process success on small, large, and complex projects.
Coordinates solution execution, organizes deployment, and/or support actions required in response to deployment issues for large and complex projects.
Identifies and documents Functional Requirements, conduct requirements gathering sessions and creates the Joint Requirements Document (JRD)
Reviews and approves testing scripts, SAT, validate test results and occasionally executing test scripts for larger, more complex, projects.
Performs ongoing auditing to validate process successes and define requirements for needed enhancements to applications for smaller, less complex, projects.
Supports the business client as a train the trainer resource and provides one-on-one training in application use and process flow.
The Senior Business Analyst may act in a lead role, providing daily management for one or more less senior business analysts.
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) and four years or related experience; or six to eight years of related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Seven years of technical and functional business expertise in an Oracle Financials 11i or R12 environment is also required.
Preference given to candidates with history of policy and process development- including taxonomy development, standardization of formats, training, publishing, and repository and archive management.
