Lead Automation Engineer

Overview:

The QA Automation Team Lead will be responsible for establishing and implementing the Architectural roadmap for QA Automation Testing.

Responsibilities:

Architect, design, develop and lead the technical implementation of the test automation platform
Build or extend existing automation framework
Design and implement a continuous integration approach to facilitate the running of automated builds and test scripts
Lead a team of 4-6 automation engineers in a matrixed organization to support our strategic goals
Collaborate with QA team on Automation best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant Engineering degree.
5+ years hands-on development or Automation experience ideally using Web Driver or Selenium.
Proven ability to architect, design and lead a team in implementing an approach to automation which is easily maintained and effective.
Knowledge of Continuous Integration Systems like Jenkins/Hudson, Cruise Control (CC) and Apache's Continuum.
Experience with scripting languages (Batch, Shell, Perl, etc. or build scripts using ANT or Maven.
Strong SQL experience desired.
Familiar with Agile/SCRUM Software Development Process strongly preferred.
A strong desire for quality, and an attention to detail.
