About the Job
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Strategic Analysis, the Senior Web Analyst will be inquisitive and analytical with the ability to develop and maintain actionable reporting and analysis while working with multiple data sources and internal clients. This role will provide analytic support across multiple web properties and products with an emphasis on understanding online customer behavior, results of testing and optimization efforts, order and funnel conversion, and online marketing campaigns in numerous channels. The Senior Web Analyst will play an important role in supporting the rapid growth of both and by providing actionable insights and reporting.
Tasks & Activities
Use web analytic and business intelligence tools to track key performance metrics and identify trends/patterns that warrant deeper analysis.
Develop, maintain and distribute weekly and monthly online reporting dashboards, providing meaningful commentary and value-added analysis.
Support decision making by providing actionable reporting and analysis.
Analysis of web site performance, trends, user activity and other metrics to provide data driven business insights.
Analysis of online testing results.
Analysis of customer acquisition data and campaign performance.
Preparation of results summaries in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested by Business Leaders.
Requirements
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an analyst in an online environment, utilizing web analytic tools (Omniture Site Catalyst preferred).
Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, can multi-task and work independently.
Understanding of online marketing channels including search, display and affiliate.
Strong proficiency with Excel required, familiarity with business intelligence tools a plus.
Experience with web analytics, search and customer experience highly desirable.
Ability to leverage both financial and web analytic data to make meaningful insights.
Experience with multivariate or A/B testing.
