Responsibilities - Develop and Design of training and interventions that promote enhancement of critical skills and leadership behaviors to meet business-specific and corporate strategies and needs. Lead efforts in the design of one or more of the Learning Services Team core development solutions or offerings. - Lead efforts in the design of training, utilizing consistent methodologies and standards. Serve as the program manager or point of contact for one or more training solutions; develops curriculum offerings. Participate in and coordinate user acceptance/quality review sessions of all training materials in advance of distribution. Proactively identify gaps in existing curriculum offerings and develops strategies to address the gap(s); suggest improvements to existing course offerings. - Develop implementation strategies for training programs and create supporting materials to ensure a successful implementation. Ensures that programs and tools are effectively implemented within the business; measures success of training objectives through surveys/interviews. Conducts and facilitates training sessions through classroom, web-based, and self-study delivery mechanisms. - Develop strong relationships with stakeholders and clients to effectively assess training requests; determine whether existing or new solutions are necessary to address business need. Conduct training needs assessments and translate outcomes or results from assessments into training strategies and plans. Accountable for managing the training plan to successful outcomes for the business. - Contribute to the development of training team members. This may include guiding less experienced staff or providing performance coaching and feedback to achieve training deliverables. Provide peer review of training materials, as requested, to validate content accuracy and quality. - Partner closely with leadership to design the assessment tools and instruments used to measure the value and impact of interventions. Sharing assessment data with key stakeholders both within and outside of the Learning Services Team and responds to questions, concerns or feedback from stakeholders related to the assessment data. Identifies opportunities for improving products and services based upon assessment data and stakeholder feedback. - Engages third party vendors when required skill sets or capabilities are not available through staff. Develops clear service level agreements with vendors and ensures product and/or service delivered achieves client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications - Minimum education requirement of college or equivalent - 5+ years relevant experience required - Previous experience in applying adult learning theory to training program development. - Proven project management and problem solving skills; demonstrated skills in building effective business consulting relationships - Knowledge of ADDIE instructional design model and proven ability to apply instructional design practices to curriculum design - Highly effective writing and interpersonal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications - Prefer Masters degree in instructional design, HR development, education or related field of study. - Prefer design and development of content for e-learning delivery.
