SENIOR TAX ANALYST Our client is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join their team in Toronto. Working very closely with the Senior Tax Manager, the successful incumbent will be responsible for reporting income taxes, quarterly tax provisions reporting to a foreign parent including current and deferred taxes. Responsibilities: Tax provision reporting Conduct corporate tax returns for all Canadian companies Prepare monthly commodity tax reviews and return filings Gather and analyze the transfer pricing data to support the annual claim and annual documentation Conduct all government tax audits Participate in periodic tasks and adhoc projects as assigned Requirements: University degree in a related discipline (i.e. Commerce or Business Administration) Professional accounting designation (CGA, CMA, CA) with a tax specialty Completion of CICA In-Depth Tax Course (Minimum Level I, Level II an asset) Good knowledge of US GAAP and SOX Excellent analytical and interpretation skills Effective planning, coordinating, organizing and time management skills Excellent interpersonal skills Has high personal standard of professionalism Good understanding of corporate tax legislation Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word), Lotus Notes HFM, ORACLE, SAP knowledge an asset To apply for this position, please contact: Dave Snidal Director Collins Recruitment Group Phone: Email: All enquiries and applications will be held in strict confidence.
