Senior Tax Analyst
The Senior Tax Analyst will report to the Director of Tax and be responsible for preparing the company's federal and state returns, maintaining its tax fixed asset records, assisting in the data gathering and review of company sales tax returns, performing federal and state tax research and clearly documenting such research. The Senior Tax Analyst will also prepare the company's monthly and quarterly tax provision entries and pro-forma tax disclosures and be expected to collaborate and communicate across all levels and departments to increase understanding of the company's current and proposed business models.
To qualify for the position as Senior Tax Analyst, you must meet the following qualifications (required unless noted otherwise): * Bachelor's Degree * A Master's degree in Tax is preferred, but not required * 2-5 years of tax experience * CPA or in the process of completing the CPA Exam * Recent experience in a public accounting firm is highly preferred * Significant experience preparing federal and state income tax returns as well as performing online tax research * Working knowledge of ASC 740 requirements * Proficiency in MS Excel
