Senior Tax Analyst I - Tax Specialist
Title: Senior Tax Analyst I - Tax Specialist Location: Texas - Plano Finance is a global resource shared by all parts of our business to help them become better managed and control their accounting flows. We manage accounting transactions, provide financial consultancy and training, and ensure that we all comply with legal, tax and internal requirements. The individual will assist with preparation of HP's quarterly and year-end worldwide income tax provision under FAS 109, including gathering, analyzing and compiling worldwide income tax provision data in order to meet HP's quarterly close and SEC reporting schedule. Strong FAS 109 income tax accounting, data analysis, Excel, project management and communication skills are required. TaxStream software and FIN 48 experience is a positive. Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting and/or Taxation Experience with FAS 109 Accounting for Income Taxes Experience with U.S. Federal and State Income Tax Compliance It is a plus if: You are a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) You have extensive experience with: *TaxStream *FIN 48 *FAS 123R *Income Tax Planning *Mergers and Acquisitions *Excel *Microsoft Access *U.S. Income Taxation for International Operations
