Senior Tax Accountant Job Description: The Senior Tax Account will be responsible for preparing tax provisions each quarter in accordance with US GAAP under ASC740, preparing US federal and state income and franchise tax returns, reconciling balance sheet tax accounts for all US legal entities every quarter, developing accurate state apportionment calculations each quarter for inclusion in effective tax rate calculations and providing tax audit support for federal and state audits, prepare quarterly tax provisions in OneSource Tax Provision consistent with ASC740 including supporting workpapers and analysis and required interaction with external auditors to support the quarterly audit and prepare IDR responses to tax auditor inquiries for federal and state audits.
Senior Tax Accountant minimum qualifiactions: --Bachelor's degree in Accounting --MST or CPA or CPA candidate --4+ years of experience in large public accounting firm or Corporate Tax Department of a public multi-national company --Experience preparing tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740 --Prior use of OneSource Tax Provision --Prior experience with tax reporting in an SEC environment --Strong technology skills - including advanced Excel skills and proficiency using various subscription tax research tools including CheckPoint.
