Job Description: Oracle WebLogic Integration (WLI) is a comprehensive and flexible java-based solution that allows integrating systems, data and people within and across companies to make the most of existing assets wherever they are.
As a Senior Software Engineer (WLI) in our Charleston, SC office, you will work with a team delivering enterprise software solutions to the public sector on the J2EE platform and other technologies. The position requires little to no travel outside the Charleston Area.
Key Responsibilities: * Lead our software engineering effort in designing and implementing changes within complex systems based on WLI * Developing technical solutions to real world problems * Writing software to coding standards * Authoring technical documentation and UML diagrams * Maintaining code written by other software engineers * Testing and debugging applications * Communicate via voice or text with clients and vendors Basic Qualifications: * 3 years of practical WLI experience * 8 years of Java development * Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. * US Citizen with the ability to secure a Government clearance * Understand the basics of Object Orient Design and be conversant in Java syntax * Understand Web technologies including HTML and the configuration of web servers such as Apache/ Tomcat * Understand the Software Engineering lifecycle. * Understand the role and appropriate usage of databases by a software application and be familiar with SQL syntax. Preferred Skills/Experience: * Common Java libraries, possibly including: Quartz, Struts, Spring ,Hibernate, log4j , integration, Junit, lucene, velocity, Guava * Objective C, C , PHP, Ruby, * Database design, particularly on Oracle, * Systems Administration for Unix, * Configuration Management, particularly with Subversion and Apache Ant * Unified Modeling Language, particularly using TogetherJ or Visio * eXtensible Markup Language(XML) and related technologies (XSLT, jaxb, xalan/xerces stack) Professional Skills: * Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions * Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information * Superior interpersonal skills including courtesy, professionalism, and a cooperative attitude * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environmentICF offers an excellent benefits package, an award winning talent development program, and fosters a highly skilled, energized and empowered workforce.
