As our Sr. Program Manager, Investments, you'll lead the development of our global investment portfolio strategies and policies and lead the day to day management of the overall portfolio of our company's investment positions to cover commitments, generate investment returns and recommend external investment managers and monitor their performance. You'll be responsible for managing our company's 401K, Profit Sharing and Deferred Compensation Plan and analyzing and recommending to senior management investment options and vehicles; ensure management reports are produced detailing performance; maintain responsibility for quarterly review of the Investment Performance Update; and provide quarterly reporting to our company's Board of Directors. You'll also provide leadership, vision and participation in long-range strategic planning and budgeting related to the Investment function; provide support to the Controller's department relative to our company's pension plans; and ensure our company's investment strategies and practices maintain the highest level of controls. You'll also be responsible for the evaluation of Investment Managers and Financial Institution services, fees and performance assessment. You'll coordinate the Investment Manager selection process, be the primary owner of relationships with External Investment Advisers and Trustee and be the project manager for externally requested analysis. You'll also ensure our company's investment practices employ industry best practice through dialogue with multinational corporate peers and participate as needed in overseeing Non-US pension plans. In addition, you'll direct feasibility studies, time and cost estimates for the establishment and the implementation of new or revised systems and programs to improve business processes and support critical business strategies. You will also perform other financial risk management activities to assist our company in assessing and minimizing our financial exposure to various counter-parties. You will also assist with special projects, as needed, to support Treasury leadership with various financial analysis or financial modeling to assess or develop financial strategies and presentations.
Requirements for the position include:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Mathematics, Economics, Investments or a related field - 5 years' experience in treasury, banking, finance or accounting (preferably 2+ years experience in fixed income asset management) - MBA and/or CFA is strongly preferred - Ability to demonstrate expert knowledge of the financial markets, specifically the investment markets - Strong analytical skills to support financial analysis and ability to develop financial models - Knowledge of accounting for investments - Strong skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Ability to develop and analyze complex financial issues and present recommendations and analysis in a clear and concise way - Effective in engaging in high profile communications with senior management - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across functions and departments
