Business Unit Overview Business Services provides Exelon and its subsidiaries with financial, human resource, legal, information technology, supply management and corporate governance services. Job Description Exelon is seeking a Senior Portfolio Manager. This position reports to the Director of Public Markets and Investment Strategy. The position sources and recommends, evaluates, and monitors external public markets investment managers and conducts and implements due diligence and risk measurement processes. This role facilitates efficient transactions between asset classes and identifies optimal sources and uses within portfolios and conducts asset class & market based research. The successful candidate will have a B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, MIS, Economics, Finance or Engineering/Technical area from an accredited four year university and a minimum 5 years industry-specific experience, plan sponsor experience required. A CFA or MBA is required as are advanced Excel and analytical skills, VBA and SQL a plus. Candidates must have a command of investment, finance, economic practices and performance measurement and factor analysis. Demonstrated technical knowledge of investments and industry dynamics is essential as is experience and ability to manage analytical tools and systems. Demonstrated interpersonal and a willingness to be "hands-on" in problem solving is requires. Proven skills in computer applications such as Word and PowerPoint are a must.
