Services are specialized to help clients mitigate risks across an overall risk spectrum. We are currently seeking a Manager/ Senior Manager to join us in our New York office.
Responsibilities for both positions: . Analyze and discuss the Investment Bank, Securities, Asset Management, Hedge Fund and/or Broker Dealer . Industries including the articulation of operating model implications on people, process, technology and regulation associated with the delivery of strategic assessments . Assist clients with revenue enhancements or operational efficiencies and scalability through the design and implementation of customized operating models . As it relates to the design of operating models, conduct current state assessments, perform industry and competitor research, develop gap assessments and facilitate the visioning of target state environments . Lead KPMG teams through daily project execution of activities, deliverables, project plans and client presentations . Support proposal and business development activities by identifying new target clients, building business relationships with key executives and developing / presenting proposals
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Manager: . Lead business development efforts for primary target clients, including regular interaction with client executives . Serve as a leader in recruiting and retention efforts to grow/develop the practice . Assist with the development of knowledge capital efforts around emerging trends
Qualifications for both positions: . Seven to ten years of experience combining industry and Strategy Consulting or Analyst Relations at top tier firms with an emphasis on the industries outlined above . Experience designing and implementing target operating models . Experience with Compliance and Risk Systems . Deep understanding of derivatives, fixed income and/or equities or experience in Hedge Funds, Private Equity Funds or Fund of Funds . Project Management experience . Ability to manage multi-disciplinary team . Excellent written and verbal communications . Progressive experience leading teams and managing projects . Excellent communication skills and ability to frame a story through executive presentations . Demonstrated ability to make and sustain meaningful client relationships . Proficient MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project skills
Additional Qualifications for Senior Manager: . Demonstrated track record of leadership, client management, project management, and business development . Ten years of applicable recent work experience . Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives
